Cheesy Spinach Puff Squares are a delightful snack made with flaky pastry and a creamy spinach filling, perfect for parties or as a tasty appetizer.

  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix the ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and the cooked spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture in the center of each square.
  7. Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
