  • 8 oz pasta of your choice
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are golden brown.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and crispy bacon to the sauce, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
