  • 12 large Medjool dates
  • 6 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the dates lengthwise and remove the pits.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, chopped walnuts, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Stuff each date with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed date with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  6. Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a slice of jalapeño inside each date before stuffing.
