12 large Medjool dates
6 slices of bacon, cut in half
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the dates lengthwise and remove the pits.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, chopped walnuts, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Stuff each date with the cream cheese mixture.
Wrap each stuffed date with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a slice of jalapeño inside each date before stuffing.
