  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your slow cooker.
  2. Season the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Add the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the onions and garlic.
  5. Pour the BBQ sauce over the pork.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  7. Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  8. Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
