Cold-brew coffee chocolate mousse

A rich and creamy chocolate mousse infused with the bold flavor of cold-brew coffee, perfect for coffee lovers and dessert enthusiasts alike.

  • 1 cup cold-brew coffee
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until fully combined.
  4. Slowly add the cold-brew coffee, folding gently to maintain the mousse’s light texture.
  5. Transfer the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  6. Serve chilled, optionally topped with whipped cream or chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
