35-Minute Skillet Lasagna: Crazy Easy Cheesy Comfort Food

A quick and easy one-pan lasagna with layers of pasta, meat, and cheese cooked in a skillet.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce, water, and broken lasagna noodles.
  3. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and dollop ricotta cheese over the top.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes to melt the cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Use no-boil lasagna noodles for quicker cooking.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
  • Replace ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
