Light and airy egg whites whipped to a cloud-like consistency, baked with a soft yolk center.

  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Separate egg whites from yolks carefully.
  3. Whip egg whites with salt, pepper, and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Spoon whipped egg whites onto a lined baking sheet, shaping into nests.
  5. Make a small well in the center of each nest and gently place a yolk inside.
  6. Bake for 3-5 minutes until whites are set but yolks remain runny.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
