Garlic Butter Steak and Scallops

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 8 oz scallops
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Add the scallops to the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Slice the rested steaks and serve topped with the garlic butter scallops.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
