A delicious and healthy grilled turkey burger served in a fresh lettuce wrap instead of a traditional bun.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Avocado slices
  • Mustard or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  5. Assemble the burger by placing the turkey patty in a lettuce leaf and topping with tomato, avocado, and sauce.
  6. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!
