A quick and easy recipe for making rich and flavorful bone broth using an Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of beef bones
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, smashed
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Water, enough to cover the bones
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef bones in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Fill the pot with water until the bones are covered.
  4. Seal the Instant Pot lid and set it to high pressure for 120 minutes.
  5. Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally.
  6. Strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve and discard the solids.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Let the broth cool before storing it in the refrigerator or freezer.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, roast the bones in the oven before adding them to the Instant Pot.
  • You can add herbs like thyme or bay leaves for additional flavor.
  • Bone broth can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for longer storage.
