  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp erythritol (or keto sweetener)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, erythritol, rice vinegar, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it’s well coated. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat avocado oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the beef for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Assemble the lettuce wraps by placing a spoonful of beef onto each lettuce leaf.
  5. Top with shredded carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use coconut aminos for a soy-free option.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
