Ingredients
Scale
4 chicken breasts
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Remove chicken from the marinade and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve with your choice of sides or store in meal prep containers for later use.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight.
This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or quinoa.
