Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the sugar and egg until fully incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the flour and matcha powder until just combined.
  7. Finally, fold in the white chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
