  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup custard powder
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add cocoa powder, graham cracker crumbs, and shredded coconut; mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan.
  4. In another bowl, mix custard powder, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth; spread over the base layer.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt chocolate and butter together over low heat; stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the custard layer and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
