Plant Based Walnut Scallops

A delicious plant-based alternative to scallops made with walnuts and seasoned to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts, soaked overnight
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse soaked walnuts.
  2. Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, olive oil, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Coat walnuts in the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook walnuts for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Soaking walnuts softens them for a better texture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
