Protein fudge brownies

Delicious and healthy protein fudge brownies that satisfy your sweet tooth while providing a boost of protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • These brownies can be frozen for longer storage.
  • Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
