Bacon stuffed mushrooms

Delicious bacon stuffed mushrooms that are perfect for impressing your guests at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the bacon and cheese mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the stuffing mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavors.
