  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.
  3. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
